Fritz Complete is a concentrated, one-step, full-spectrum water conditioner that not only removes chlorine and chloramine but also detoxifies toxic ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, making tap water safe for aquarium use. It is safe for all fish, plants, and invertebrates and can be used in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.

  • Full-Spectrum Detoxification: Rapidly and permanently eliminates chlorine and chloramines. It also binds with and detoxifies toxic ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, making them harmless to fish while still bioavailable to the beneficial nitrifying bacteria in the filter. This helps manage the nitrogen cycle, especially in new tank setups or during spikes.
  • Safety and Compatibility: The formula is safe for all aquatic life, including delicate species like axolotls (unlike Fritz Guard which contains aloe vera). It is reef-safe and does not affect the water's pH level.

Usage and Dosing
  • Standard Dose: Use 1 teaspoon (5 mL) per 50 U.S. gallons (189 L) of water.
  • Application Method: For best results, add the conditioner to a separate container of tap water before adding it to the aquarium. Ensure adequate aeration/circulation when dosing, as the active ingredient can reduce dissolved oxygen when used in large amounts.
  • Emergency Dosing: For extremely high levels of ammonia or nitrite, the dosage can safely be repeated or increased up to 5 times within a 24-hour period. 

Important Notes
  • Odor: Fritz Complete has a distinct sulfur odor, which is completely normal and dissipates rapidly after use.
  • Test Kits: The product will affect the accuracy of Nessler-type ammonia test kits (those with yellow/amber color charts). Salicylate-type ammonia test kits (those with green color charts) are recommended for accurate readings after use.
