Fritz Zyme TurboClean is a powerful, concentrated blend of naturally-occurring heterotrophic bacteria designed to digest organic sludge in both fresh and saltwater aquariums and ponds. It helps improve water clarity, eliminate odors, and reduce the need for manual cleaning and water changes. 

Product Details
  • Function: Contains specific bacteria strains to break down fish waste, leftover food, and other decaying organic matter (sludge).
  • Aquarium Compatibility: One formula works in both freshwater and saltwater systems. It is safe for all fish, plants, and invertebrates.
  • "Monster Fish" Formula: The high concentration of bacteria is specifically chosen for heavily stocked tanks or those with "monster fish" that produce a large amount of waste, such as arowanas, Oscars, large angels, and eels.
  • Convenience: Does not require refrigeration and has a long, two-year shelf life. 

Application Instructions
  • Initial Dose: Add 5 mL (1 tsp) per 10 U.S. gallons (38 L) of water.
  • Maintenance Dose: Use 5 mL (1 tsp) per 20 U.S. gallons (76 L) after routine maintenance or water changes.
  • Best Results: Pour the solution directly into the aquarium in an area of high water flow.
  • Cautions:
    • Ensure all chlorine and chloramines have been removed from the water before adding the product.
    • Discontinue the use of protein skimmers and UV sterilizers for at least 48 hours after application to allow the bacteria to spread throughout the system.
    • Overdosing is generally safe, but monitoring is advised, with increased aeration and small water changes if distress is observed.
