 is a non-antibiotic, bio-adhesive supplement that uses natural oils and extracts to repair and strengthen a fish's natural slime coat, thereby protecting against bacterial and fungal infections. It can be used as a preventative or treatment for mild cases of common diseases.

  • Natural Formula: Contains a blend of natural oils and extracts, including Chitosan, Cinnamon Oil, and Geranium Oil, in a patented film-forming matrix.
  • Disease Prevention/Treatment: The protective "shield" helps the fish's natural defenses against bacterial and fungal issues like fin and tail rot, popeye, body fungus, and gill disease.
  • Aquarium Compatibility: Safe for use in both freshwater and saltwater systems, and with plants and most invertebrates. Some sessile invertebrates may temporarily retract after initial dosing.

Application Instructions
  • General Dosage: Add 1 teaspoon (5 mL) per 25 U.S. gallons (94.6 L) of water.
  • Reef/Invertebrate Systems: The dosage is adjusted to two daily half treatments of 1 teaspoon (5 mL) per 50 U.S. gallons (189 L), applied 12 hours apart, for a total of 6 treatments.
  • Treatment Course: A full course involves dosing every other day for a total of 6 treatments.
  • Important Notes:
    • Remove activated carbon during treatment.
    • Maintain adequate aeration. It may cause excessive foam in protein skimmers, so turn those off if necessary.
    • Increasing water temperature (above 80°F or 27°C) can enhance effectiveness.
    • The product may temporarily inhibit nitrifying bacteria; if ammonia or nitrite becomes a concern, use a detoxifier like Fritz Complete.
